"I’ve always struggled with the mental side of my game, and after coming off one of the best seasons of my career, I unexpectedly fell into a slump. I was having major “blow-up” holes, taking unnecessary risks, and putting a lot of pressure on myself to meet unrealistic expectations. Golf stopped being fun, and I felt lost and frustrated with my performance. That’s when I decided to set up my first meeting with Mike. I met with him weekly after tournaments, and I noticed a change in my game almost immediately. Through our conversations about my golf, my thought process, and the challenges I was facing, Mike helped me identify the weak points in my mental game and gave me practical tools to improve them.
Additionally, Mike's support went beyond the course. As a college student-athlete balancing a part-time job, demanding academics, and everyday life challenges, he helped me manage those pressures, allowing me to perform better both on and off the course. I came to Mike to improve my performance, and he delivered. My mental resilience, course management, strategic thinking, and overall attitude have improved immensely. I’ve minimized major “blow-up” holes, stayed positive, played smarter, and let go of expectations. Instead of overthinking, I learned to focus on what I could control; taking it one hole at a time and staying patient and calm. Going from racking up high numbers to playing consistently and making very few bogeys, Mike’s guidance completely changed my game. I’m incredibly grateful for his approach and the impact he’s had on both my golf and my life."
